Miller Jeep Trail September 2016

On The Rocks Trip Report, Miller Jeep Run 9/10/2016 Attending The Miller Jeep Run we had: Lyndol, Josh, and Kira James Roman and Cecily Cooper Gary Martin Dwayne Wilson Kevin Hay Jeff Sanders Damien, with Keith Dittmer Bob Boltner Tim R. Paul Brililen Dag Midtskog Mike Sullivan and his two Daughters We met at the park-in-ride at Porter Ranch at six am. We refueled at the Flying J in Frazier Park, and then met up at Big Johns for breakfast. We went in to the trail at Frazier trailhead above the ranger station. Ten jeeps aired down and started the trail. Approximately less than s mile in to the run Tim’s Cherokee experienced electrical problems and we worked on it for as while but could not get it running. Damien and Keith towed Tim back to the parking lot and went looking for parts. The remaining eight jeeps continued on to the trial head where we met Mike Sullivan. We crossed the creek and started up the trail towards Miller, within a mile Bob Boltner’s jeep started missing and Mile Sullivan and his two daughter’s followed him back to the parking lot. The remaining seven jeeps completed Miller getting back to Hungry Valley OHV area at approximately 3:30 when we aired up and headed home. Submitted by Lyndol James
