Great weather all weekend ! no wind, mild nites, warm days.
Attending:
Thurs: John & Wendy, Rich and Corkey, DuWayne & Tina
Fri:early: Mike & Lori, late: Ric & Lisa
Sat: Mike W. and Jerome
Activities:
Thurs and Fri.: buggy runs. Fri nite: Happy Hour, campfire
Sat.:run left with John, DuWayne & Tina, Mike S. & Lori, Ric & Lisa, Mike W. & Jerome (3 buggy's and 2 jeeps) about 9:30am, headed out across the desert, Mike W noticed Ric's shock was broken, so Lisa drove the jeep back to camp, and Ric hopped into John's buggy. Shortly after John's tire had a low tire, but put air into it and then headed up to Empire Strikes Back, but Johns tire had sidewall cut, he plugged it and refilled w/ air, and continued on to Richie's Crack, and then across the valley to another trail. On the way back we explored a couple of off-shoot canyons. Then returned to camp for another great happy hour and campfire, except Mike W. and Jerome left after grabbing some chips.
Sun: run left w/ John, Rich and Corkey, and Mike S & Ric at about 8:30 and did the other canyon for Empire Stikes Back, then went to another trail, then Mike S had to return to camp, so Ric jumped into John's buggy, then the 2 remaining buggy's explored more canyons. Returned to camp and everyone finished packing up and headed home.
Always great to be the club: good friends, good times.
Lisa's 2cents: Wendy and I had a nice time visiting thru out Sat/ (thanks Wendy!) , and Lori joined us on Sun. for tours of each other's motorhomes and more girl gab.
