We had a great turnout for the trip.

John, Wendy and Nova
Rich and Corkey
DuWayne and Tina
Robb and Shirley
Eric B
Bill
Tory and Erin, plus friends Dan, Todd, Larry and Larry.

Several of us stayed at the Palm canyon Resort which has long pull throughs and rooms for those who are not camping.
Most arrived the 26th. Most of the trails for this trip were 2-3. The weather was great except the last day of rain
There are several great restaurants in the area, so we ate out.
The following day we planned on doing the Calcite Mine Trail, head south to the Pumpkin Patch and then finish with the Truckhaven Trail heading into Borrego. After leaving the mine and heading towards the Patch, Robb snapped off one of the front link brackets on his TJ. The first Breakdown of the year. Larry had a homemade stick welder and with that, managed to get Robb running. That delayed the trip and after visiting the Patch it was too late to finish the trail so we headed back to Palm Canyon for beer thirty.
The following day we did Coyote Canyon and spent the day in the upper canyons tooling around and hoping to see a Big Horn Sheep. No luck, but the weather was absolutely great - in the low 60's with no wind and no dust. Had lunch at the end of the canyon.
The last day only the Cary's, Larson's and Wohler's were on the trip. We headed up Oriflamme and Chariot Canyons to the Banner store and then to Julian for lunch. The weather turned as a storm moved in and we had heavy rains and winds the whole day. A little slipping and sliding in the mud. The canyons were great and lunch was great. After lunch we headed back to Borrego for beer thirty and dinner. We all left the following morning.
If I missed anything, please chime in.
